Due to the constantly changing conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, no set plans have been made to celebrate the Club’s 95 Anniversary at this stage.
We all want to honour and celebrate our Club’s magnificent history and wonderful achievement in reaching 95 years. This makes Scots the oldest club in St George and southern Sydney.
We all look forward to the reunions every five years , to both honour our club and meet up with old team mates.
However with the amount of people that have played with Scots over the years, this always involves some travelling and long distances to attend. Given the constantly changing restrictions on numbers allowed at venues – even outdoor venues – no set plans have been or will be made until we are sure the event will go ahead in the manner we would all want it to be.
It has always been held at the end of the season October/November and we can all hope this might be possible this year. But if we have to celebrate 95 years in our 96th year to do it justice then we will do it that way. This would be preferable to make sure no-one misses out, or not doing it in the manner we would all wish to.
Hoping that all Scots ex players and officials stay safe during this awful time.
