Below is the most recent update from St George Junior League and NSWRL on the Covid-19 situation.
How long is footy suspended for?
Community Rugby League (that is Under 6’s to Open Age) has been suspended until at least May 1, 2020. We are in constant contact with NSWRL, and we will be following their guidance, as well as the advice from the Health Authorities and Federal and State Governments.
We are conscious that everyone wants to play again, and we want to get you back on the park as soon as it is safe for our Rugby League Community to do so.
This is a rapidly changing situation and we will continue to monitor the situation, and further advise regarding any change to this will be communicated as and when it comes to hand.
Can my team continue to train?
No. All team/club training and trials are suspended.
Who do I contact if I have further questions?
For all Rugby League related enquiries players, coaches, managers, trainers and parents/guardians should direct their questions to their club. For Arncliffe Scots enquiries you can contact Glenys via the contact form on this site.
For all COVID-19 related enquiries, please follow the guidelines and advice of the Federal and State Government, and their allied Health Authorities.
What does this mean for our Competition Schedule?
St George JRL and NSWRL are currently working through different scenarios, and once finalised we will be communicating to Clubs.
Can I still register to play?
Absolutely! All Clubs are still welcoming players and taking registrations.
I have registered for a Coach or Trainer Course, will they be rescheduled?
The NRL have made all online components of their coach courses available, so you are able to complete those modules. They will then endeavour to reschedule all coach and trainer face to face workshops once the suspension is over to ensure all Coaches and Trainers are accredited for the 2020 Season.
