It’s that time of year again! The rugby league season is around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about the seasons ahead (we know our club secretary Glenys is getting everything in order). Here is some of the important information to date.
Competition Format
U/6 to U/12 – St George District
U/13 to U/20 – St George and Cronulla.
Open Age to be confirmed
Girls – Sydney Metro.
Competition Dates
Round 1 – 1st and 2nd May
No Play Queens Birthday Weekend
Semi Finals 14th and 15th August
Finals 24th and 25th August
Grand Finals 27th 28th 29th August.
The late start in May is due to Easter and Anzac Day and also the middle week of School Holidays all being in April. However this will allow an extra month of preparation and training leading into the season and one without players being involved in Summer Sports.
